winter 23 full coverThe new edition of TCU Magazine is now live, featuring a cover story on the leadership of Chancellor Victor J. Boschini, Jr. and President Daniel W. Pullin. As TCU closes out its 150th celebration and officially welcomes a new president, the timing is right to celebrate TCU’s legacy of leadership.

“The cover story focuses on TCU’s two top leaders and backtracks through the past 20 years of historic growth. Developments are happening so quickly on all corners of campus, and this is our chance to step aside and explore how the university achieved its current heights,” said Caroline Collier, editor. “The cover package also includes a brief biography and a Q&A with President Pullin, who shares inspirational insights into his strategic thinking and priorities as far as launching TCU to even greater levels of excellence.”

The winter issue has big shoes to fill, following its .

“The fall issue was the special Sesquicentennial keepsake, but the Winter 2023 TCU Magazine is one to remember as well because it’s a missive to the future of the university,” Collier said. “No one would argue that TCU is riding a 150-year high in terms of academic reputation, financial footing, athletics success and, well, pure joy.”

Other highlights of the issue include a feature on the history of the endowment and the critical role of philanthropy; a historical piece about how the university has always been a place for women to learn and lead; a feature on Rosemarie Fike’s research on the links between markets and morality; and a fun look back at the Big Switch, when the chancellor would swap places with a student for a day.
