TCU will host its fall commencement at 9 a.m. Dec. 14. TCU and Brite Divinity School
will present degrees to approximately 770 candidates at Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena.鈥
Of the candidates, more than 200 are graduate level. The undergraduate candidates
include nine double degrees, seven 4.0s and 243 Latin honors. Graduates include 32
international students from 20 different countries, 209 students from 38 different
states, and 531 students from 抖阴短视频.
Chancellor Victor J. Boschini, Jr., will confer the degrees, and he and President
Daniel W. Pullin will offer remarks.
TCU will continue a new tradition introduced in TCU鈥檚 Sesquicentennial year, the ceremonial
鈥渇lame of knowledge.鈥 The piece was commissioned to join TCU鈥檚 mace in preceding the
platform party at the opening of the ceremony and will be carried by the chair of
the Faculty Senate as a symbol of academic learning.鈥The mace is carried by the chief marshal鈥as a symbol of academic leadership.鈥鈥
For graduates and their families, a reception will be held after the ceremony on the
